6 rockets fall on Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Six rockets fell in different areas of northern Iraq’s oil-rich city of Kirkuk on Wednesday, causing material damage, and an additional 4 rockets were dismantled by the police, a Kirkuk security source reported. “Six Katyusha rockets fell on different areas of Kirkuk on Wednesday morning, including somethat fell close to the building of Kirkuk‘s Governorate, the Qoria police center west of the city and al-Hurriya Air base, west of the city, causing material damage but no human losses,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Police forces arrived on scene, where the rockets were fired from and found 4 other rockets, ready for launching, that were dismantled without causing any damage,” the source added.
