Armed men blow up officer’s house in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A group of unknown gunmen have blown up the house of an Iraqi Army officer under construction, south of Mosul, the center of northern Iraq’s Ninewa Province on Sunday, a Ninewa security source reported. “A group of unknown armed men have blow up the house of Iraqi Army Officer, Col.Farhan al-Namis, in Qayara township, 60 km to the south of Mosul,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency on Sunday, adding that the house was under construction and its destruction by explosive charges did not cause any human casualties. Mosul, the center of Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad.
