Study to connect Karbala – Najaf provinces with railway network

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Karbala‘s governor said today that a Korean company submitted a study to establish a railway network connecting Karbala to Mussaiab to the north, and Najaf province to the east to transport the holy shrines visitors in religious ceremonies. Governor Amaluddin al-Hir told IraqiNews.com that the South Korean STX company submitted the study with modern specifications. The study shall be referred to the ministry of transportation for approval, then to study other details of payment and work procedures, as said by the Governor. TM (TP)/SR 120
