8 civilians injured in south Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Eight Iraqi civilians have been injured in an explosive charge blast in southern Baghdad‘s Zaafaraniya district on Sunday, a security source reported. “An explosive charge, planted close to a petrol filling station in southern Baghdad‘s Zaafaraniya district, blew up wounding 8 civilian, who were driven to a nearby hospital,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency on Sunday. Noteworthy is that a booby-trapped car blew up close to a police center in Zaafaraniya district 2 days ago, killing 18 persons and wounding 36 others. SKH (TP)/SR588
