March near Falluja condemns civilian death by U.S. fire
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Hundreds of Falluja people staged a peaceful demonstration on Saturday condemning the killing of a local resident by U.S. forces’ fire, demanding an investigation into the incident. Some 900 locals of al-Nassaf village, Falluja city, took to the streets and gathered near Osama Ibn Zayd Mosque, chanting slogans against U.S. forces, which they blamed for the death of a local resident during the early hours of Friday. A spokesman for the demonstrators said that the march denounced the killing of citizen Sajit al-Ulwani, who was killed in his bed by U.S. fire. A security source in Falluja police told IraqiNews.com over the phone that an Iraqi civilian was killed and six others detained in a raid conducted by U.S. troops on Friday in an area inhabited by al-Bu Ulwan clans.
