National Alliance threatens to boycott national conference

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The National Alliance will not attend the National Conference if Hashimi and Mutlaq cases are included in its agenda, an MP from the Alliance, Haitham al-Jbouri, said today. He pointed out that the success of the conference depends on constitutionalism of its topics to be discussed. The preparatory committee held many meetings to discuss the working papers submitted by al-Iraqiya, National Alliance and Kurdish blocs. It is expected that another meeting will be held next Sunday.
