Burning Quran expression of hatred, Islamic Party

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Islamic Party expressed its “grave denunciation” on burning Holy Quran news in the US base in Afghanistan, pointing out that “this continued behavior is a reflection of hatred”.   Chairman of the Party criticized US allegations “of supporting opinion freedom and democracy”, calling “the Arab and Islamic nations to express their anger for these infamous acts in a peaceful way”.   On Tuesday last, some US soldiers burnt copies of Holy Quran, which led to massive demonstrations in Afghanistan to protest this action.   US Defence Secretary submitted “apologies to Afghan government, describing this act as unintentional mistake, in an attempt to absorb anti-American feelings”; at a time USA is trying to have peace negotiations with Taliban in Qatar.   On Thursday last, US President Barack Obama apologized to the Afghani people for this action, in which he expressed “deep regret” to his Afghani counterpart Hamid Carazai.568
