Maliki addresses Parliament to cancel previous request to dismiss Mutleg
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The rapporteur of the parliament Muhammad Al-Khalidi announced that “The Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki sent a request to withdraw his previous request related to withdrawing confidence from his deputy, Saleh al-Mutleg.”
Khalidi said in a statement to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) today that “Maliki sent a request to the parliament Presidency to cancel the previous request for the withdrawal of confidence from the Deputy Premier for Services Affairs Saleh al-Mutleg.”
MP Walid al-Hilli of the State of Law Coalition announced earlier that “The Deputy Prime Minister, also a leader within the Iraqiya Slate, Saleh al-Mutleg will resume his duties at the meetings of the Council of Ministers soon.”
The Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has met with his deputy, Saleh al-Mutleg, in his office last Tuesday.
