Urgent: Integrity Committee to summon 16 officials, 2 IS MPs
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Integrity Committee announced that it will submit a summon requests against 16 officials including two of the MPs of the Iraqiya Slate.
The head of the Committee, Baha al-Araji, stated in a press conference on Monday “The Committee has issued summoning requests over financial and administrative corruption issues against 16 officials including MPs, Mudhhir al-Janabi and Ismaeel Ghazi, of the Iraqiya Slate, the former head of Basra Provincial Council, Mohammed Sadoun Sahar, the former head of Muthana PC, Ahmed Salal and the former head of Diyala PC, Ibrahim al-Bajalan.”
“Some members of Babel and Muthana PCs were also included according to the Article 331 of the Iraqi Punishments Law,” he added.
“The Director General of Mideast Electric Department, Shakir Abd Ali, the DG of the Ready-Made Clothes Company, Farouq al-Sawaf and the DG of the Electrictiy Ministry, Wafi Mandalawi were also included,” he concluded.
