TV Correspondent killed in Mosul

Nineveh , Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A journalist was killed due to an armed attack in eastern Mosul on Monday evening.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Monday that ”Unidentified gunmen stormed the house of (Ghazwan Anas), who works as programs presenter in Sama Al-Mosul satellite channel, and opened fire, killing him immediately in Sumer neighborhood of eastern Mosul.”

The source added “The gunmen managed to flee after the attack.”

The source continued saying that ”The police transported the dead body of the victim to the morgue and launched an investigation over the incident.”
