Poor management contributes in reducing Iraqis income, says economic expert

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Economic expert Basem Jamel stated that ”The weak planning and the poor management of the economic file due to restricting the expertise contributed in the reduction of Iraqi people’s income.”

Jamel added in statement to IraqiNews.com that ”The Government could not operate the production sectors although there is a lot of oil surpluses which was not used to create new incomes for the Iraqi people due to poor planning and bad management for the economic file.”

The statement added that ”There are many factors that can help the income of the Iraqi people which can be accomplished by activating the production sectors represented by agricultural, industrial, and tourism,” noting that “When the rate of unemployment is reduced, the individual will be transfered from consumer into producer and will develop living level of the Iraqi family and reduce the poverty rate from 23% to 15%.”

The Ministry of Planning announced in a statement that “The average of the Iraqi people income have climbed up from USD (100) per month in 2004 into USD (4000) in 2011. \
