Umm Qasr port receives commercial ships from Malta, UK

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Transportation announced the arrival of a ship from Malta loaded with more than 50,000 tons of wheat to Umm Qasr port, in addition to arrival of the Samba British ship to the same port.

A statement by the Ministry cited that “Umm Qasr port of southern Basra received the Ship (C.D.U) from Malta which is loaded with 52,500 tons of wheat imported by the Trade Ministry.”

“The Samba ship from UK arrived the port and it was loaded with 203 containers,” the statement concluded.
