Pakistani Government expresses desrie to invest more funds in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Pakistan, Dr. Rushdi al-Ani, met the Pakistani Minister of Oil Dr. Asim Hussein, on Monday.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs cited “During the meeting, the minister of Pakistan stated that there is a desire for his country to invest more money in Iraq and the opening of new horizons and gain the confidence of the Government of Iraq to the success of our work and to help the two countries to overcome obstacles.”

“Both sides tackled the issue of facilitating granting visas to employees of Oil Company that will work in Iraq,” the statement added.

“The Pakistani Minister expressed his desire to visit the country for discussing investment opportunities in the sectors of housing, agriculture and industry,” the statement concluded.
