Saad: Oil, Energy Committee to bring various views closer between Oil Ministry, Kurdistan Region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Suzan al-Saad, the member of the Parliamentary Committee for the Oil and Energy announced that the Committee will bring the various views closer between the Oil Minister and Kurdistan Region.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday, she said “The increase of the crisis between the Oil Ministry and Kurdistan Region in addition to the exportation of the oil, urge the Committee members to find the suitable solutions to settle this crisis.”

In regard to the electric situation in Basra province, she revealed “The Committee will visit Basra province next week to diagnose the reasons behind the shut down in the electric power.”

“The latest demonstrations in Basra over the electric situation, makes the Committee members to visit the province next week, especially after using the Iranian lines to provide electricity,” she concluded.
