Othman calls CG to coordinate with Kurdistan RegionG before deploying forces near Kurdistan Region borders

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mahmoud Othman of the Kurdistani Alliance assured that “The Federal Government has no right to deploy military forces on the borders of the Kurdistan Region without prior coordination with the Region.”

MP Othman told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Sunday “Before sending any troops or military reinforcements on the borders of Kurdistan, the Federal Government in Baghdad should have understanding and prior coordination with Kurdistan Regional Government.”

He added that “Sending these troops by Baghdad to the safe and stable areas without informing or coordinating with Kurdistan RegionG is wrong,” noting that “The best step was to have a coordination and cooperation between both sides to overcome any tensions that may occur in the future.”
