Parliament discusses incapability of MoE to settle electricity crisis in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A parliamentary source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Wednesday “The parliament is discussing the incapability of the Ministry of Electricity to settle the electricity crisis in Iraq.”

“The Parliamentary Committee of the Energy and the Natural Resources discussed with the Electricity Minister, Karim Aftan, and the possibility of endorsing a law draft over the incapability of the MoE to settle the electricity crisis.”

The parliament has held its regular session headed by the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, with presence of (235) MPs where some law drafts were endorsed.
