Samarayi: Political crisis witnesses calm stage

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Wasat Alliance within the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad al-Samarayi, confirmed that “The political crisis witnesses a calm stage currently.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “After the meetings of the Iraqi National Alliance and its proposal for the political reforms, the media escalation has been stopped.”

He stressed “The serious performance to implement the reforms.”

“I do not think the attempt of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will be successful,” he added.

“All blocs know that this attempt was suggested by the Sadr Trend and when the Trend canceled it, it has failed,” he concluded.
