Batiekh: Committee formed to redistribute lands of former regime assistants

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Batiekh, confirmed that “A Committee was formed to redistribute the lands that were confiscated by the assistants of the former regime in Wassit province.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Committee was formed in al-Dibouni district and the mechanism of the redistribution was set also,” noting that “The Committee will perform transparently.”

“These lands were seized by the assistants of the former regime and they belong to the Iraqi State,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Batiekh called earlier the Federal Government to restore the lands confiscated by the assistants of the former regime to their original owners.
