Kuwait Newspapers show items of Ki-noom’s report over development of Kuwaiti-Iraqi relations
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Some Kuwaiti Newspapers have shown some items of the report of the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon over the development of the mutual relations between Iraq and Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti al-Qabas Newspaper quoted Ki-moon in his report , as saying “The Kuwaiti -Iraqi relations witnessed a noticeable development during the last four months after forming an associative committee to run the navigation and the waterways in Khur Abdullah.”
“The two sides conducted several procedures to preserve the associated borders,” he added, pointing out “Kuwait will have new embassies in Basra and Erbil.”
“The two sides have also requested the UN to start rehabilitating the associative borders on the 31st of October 2012 in accordance with the basic conditions of the rehabilitations,” he added.
The Newspaper added “Ki-, moon assured the support of the UN to the two sides and their efforts that need to be appreciated.”
