Nusayif calls to protect MPs who rejected withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc called “The parliament Chairmanship to protect MPs, who rejected the attempt of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, from the political pressures practiced by some sides.”

She assured in a press statement “Some sides launch the accusations against the MPs who rejected withdrawing the confidence from Maliki.”

“Such things indicate that these sides are ignorant concerning the simplest concepts of democracy and they revenge the MPs who are against their viewpoints,” she added.

“The parliament Chairmanship has the duty to protect these MPs and to investigate about the sides that target them,” she concluded.
