British Parliament hosts Zibari

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi-British Parliamentary Committee hosted the Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zibari on Tuesday at a dialogue session at the Lords Council in the British Parliament.

A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry cited Wednesday “Zibari reviewed developments of the political, security, economic and investment situation in Iraq and emphasized the democratic changes achieved in Iraq as well as current efforts to confront the political and security challenges in Iraq.”

The session was attended by several members of the Council of Lords and businessmen as well as members of the Iraqi Embassy in Britain.

Head of the Parliamentary Committee Ema Nickelson welcomed the Iraqi FM and accompanying delegation and appreciated the Iraqi Government’s efforts to regain the Iraqi effective role on regional and international levels.
