Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Services and Rebuilding Parliamentary Committee demanded to dismiss three services ministers for not expending 75% of the budgets of their ministries.

Member of the Committee MP Ihsan al-Awadi stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Wednesday “The Service and Rebuilding Committee sent a report to the Chairmanship of the Parliament, demanding to dismiss, investigating or hosting three ministers in the field of services for not accomplishing their investment plans,” noting that “According to the Budget Law, the Parliament should dismiss the Minister or the Governor who does not spend less than 75% of the budget allocated for his ministry or province.”

“The three ministers related to services field, he did not name them, have not implemented their plans and we think their performance suffers from a defect so we reported this defect to the chairmanship of the Parliament to decide about them,” MP Awadi added, stressing that “The political atmosphere might affect or delay the investigation process or even dismissing them.”
