Mohammadi: Investigating Maliki not to contradict with INA’s reforms

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Walid al-Mohammadi of the Wasat Alliance within the Iraqiya Slate assured that “The process of investigating the Premier Nouri al-Maliki will go on because it does not contradict with reforms’ proposal of the Iraqi National Alliance since the final decision will be for the members of Parliament.”

In a statement for IraqiNews.com, MP Mohammadi said Tuesday “Investigation process is among the mechanisms of the Parliament in case it identified any mistake in the performance of the government since ten or 25 MPs can investigate any official in the government according to Constitution.”

Reforms proposed by INA can start and when investigating the PM inside the parliament we will ignore the files which were fixed, he added.

“Most of the blocs do not have confidence that the Government will accomplish all reforms because the term of the Cabinet is about to end and it has only one year left which is not enough to do comprehensive reforms in the establishments of the State,”
