Iranian Ambassador: Iranian delegation visits Iraq Sunday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iranian Ambassador to Iraq assured that “An Iranian delegation arrived to Baghdad on Sunday.”

He announced in a press statement “The delegation will discuss the issue of discovering a mass grave for Iranian soldiers to gain more information about this issue through the investigations.”

Concerning the issue of the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq Organization, he added “The Iraqi Government transferred two thirds of the MKO elements from Camp Ashraf to the liberty Camp in Baghdad and the other third will be transferred soon.”

Over the request of some MKO elements to return to Iran, he stressed “All the elements of the MKO can return safely to Iran except about 100 of them who have criminal records and they will face the judicial procedures if they return to Iran.”

“A joint meeting was held among the Iraqi and the Iranian governors of the provinces that are located at the Iraqi-Iranian borders,” he mentioned, pointing out that “The Head of the Iranian Haj Committee as well as the Iranian Minister of Justice will visit Baghdad soon.”

“The Iraqi Human Rights Minster will visit Tehran on next Monday,” he concluded.
