Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed Iqbal, of the Iraqiya Slate stressed that “We will not abandon our call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, without accomplishing the reformations.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “There many reasons that urge us to go on in our proposal to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The balance issue is one of the pending issues in Iraq at the current stage.”

“The armed forces represent a sample for the lack of the balance that is reflected on their performance,” he added.

“We need to reconsider the military and the civilian institutions to amend the political process,” he concluded.
