Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Wihda al-Jumaili, of the Iraqiya Slate criticized “The statements launched by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after his meeting with the Head of the Iraqi National Alliance.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “These statements are interpreted as waging the war against the sides that called for withdrawing confidence from Maliki.”

“Maliki was supposed to be a side for settling the crisis rather than being the side who complicate it,” she added, stressing that “We were waiting from Maliki to ensure others sides by promising them to resort to dialogue but he did the opposite by launching the threats.”

“Maliki is also supposed to conduct reformations rather than withdrawing confidence from Nijaifi,” she concluded.

Earlier, Maliki assured in a press conference held after meeting Jaafary on last Sunday evening that “We want to build our country and face all the challenges to present services for all citizens and establish a solid State that protect and serve its citizens.”

He added “I have mentioned many times that the constitution is clearly violated by the louder voice and I have clarified that we cannot proceed in the political process with all these intended violations which are intended to hurdle the performance of the government.”

Maliki also criticized the performance of the Parliament describing it as “Standing silent towards the clear and serious violations committed in the field of oil, disputed areas or the foreign relations issue.”

Maliki stressed “I have suggested to Mr. Jaafary that if the other side rejected the national dialogue, and they absolutely reject it, we will go to Parliament to tell Iraqis to look on the current situation and discuss our issues in the parliament to realize who violates the constitution and who is not.”
