IS: Parliament chairmanship to nominate MP for investigating Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqiya Slate announced that “The parliament chairmanship will nominate the MP who will investigate the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

The spokesperson of the IS MP, Haider al-Mulla, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There is a deal with the parliament chairmanship to make it nominate the MP who will investigate Maliki,” noting that “Reports over the classification of the investigation as being political or vocational is a wrong issue because they are set by the parliament which is a political side, so all of them are political reports.”

“Among the files that Maliki will be investigated for are violating the Human Rights and torturing procedures for the prisoners,” he concluded.
