Hakim: Terrorists’ crimes to consolidate unity among Iraqis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed that “The terrorists’ crimes will consolidate the unity among the Iraqis.”

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received the head of the Sunni Endowment in Southern Iraq, Abdul Karim al-Khazraji, and the accompanying delegation, which involved prominent tribal figures from Basra province, at his office in Baghdad on Sunday.”

“Hakim stressed the national unity among the Iraqis,” the statement added.

“Khazraji appreciated Hakim’s stance and his visit to the Sunni Endowment during his last visit to Basra,” the statement mentioned.

“Khazraji emphasized the importance of keeping contact with Hakim to support the interests of Basra province,” the statement concluded.
