Sadr expresses readiness to host national meeting in Najaf

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, expressed his readiness to hold the national meeting at his residence in Najaf province to settle the current political crisis.

In response to a question by some people from Adhamiya area of Baghdad over the possibility of holding and heading the national meeting at his residence in Najaf province by calling all the political blocs including the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to attend this meeting, Muqtada al-Sadr said “If they agree upon holding it, I will be waiting for them to serve them.”
