Shahbander: SLC not to object investigating Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Izzat al-Shahbander, of the State of Law Coalition pointed out that “Investigating the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will be political rather than practical procedure.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The SLC does not object investigating Maliki because it is a constitutional and legal process.”

The parliament will resume its sessions on next Saturday to discuss a number of law drafts but its agenda does not include a request to investigate Maliki.
