Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Liqa Wardi, of the Iraqiya Slate criticized describing the process of investigating the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki as a “Plot”, assuring that “The investigation process is a constitutional step and does not target a certain bloc or person.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she stated “There is no opposition to the State of Law Coalition or any other bloc and the investigation process is to practice the role of the parliament.”

“Investigating the neglectful side, for not adhering to the electoral project and providing services to the citizens, does not mean an opposition to a certain person, but to follow the observatory role of the parliament,” she concluded.

Earlier, the President Jalal Talabani assured that the number of the MPs who have signed a request to withdraw confidence from the Premier Nouri al-Maliki reached only 160 MPs which is less than the required number limited by 163.
