Mutalabi reveals reason behind disputes between Allawi, Khanger

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Saad al-Mutalabi of the State of Law Coalition revealed the reason behind the disputes occured between “The Head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, and the merchant who supports the IS financially, Khamees al-Khanjer,” assuring that “The disputes emerged because Allawi prevented the latter from having a share as a partner in an oil production company that will be responsible for oil fields in the the disputed areas.” Mutalabi said “Some media sources cited that Khanjer knows all about the details of the Iraqi negotiations with the regional sides,” noting that “There may be a deal related to establish an oil company in the north of Iraq to be formed according to an agreement among Allawi, Barzani and Nijaifi to extract oil in the disputed areas.” “It is expected that Khanjer was not involved in this deal and this may be the reason behind the disputes,” he stressed. It is mentioned that disputes happened between Allawi and Khanjer earlier. On the other hand, the major figure in the Iraqi National Dialogue Front, MP Raad al-Dahlaki within the IS, assured that “The disputes were personal, not political since Khanjer has nothing to do with politics.”
