Sadrist MP: Investigating side for Maliki must be adherent to reformation demands

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Jobouri, of the Sadr Trend, assured that the investigating side to the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, must be adherent to the demands that called for reformation.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The investigating side could be the Sadr Trend, the Kurdistani Alliance or the Iraqiya Slate because the investigating side must be a representative to the will of the political sides called for the investigation.”

“The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr signed on the demands that support the reformation and there is no objection over the investigating side but it could be on the basis of the demands called for the reformation,” he added.

“If the Sadr Trend conducts the investigation, it will represent the other partners called for the investigation,” he concluded.

Earlier, the spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”

The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, revealed that he promised the political blocs if they managed to gather 124 MPs supporting withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, he will complete them to become 164 MPs.
