Talabani, SLC, DIP delegation assure necessity of settling disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani and delegation of the State of Law Coalition and the Dawa Islamic Party, headed by the Primer, Nouri al-Maliki, called to “Settle the political disputes in order to activate the service and national files.”

A presidential statement cited “Talabani received the SLC and DIP delegation, comprising Abdul Halim al-Ziheiri and Hassan al-Sinied, in Sulaimaniya province on Thursday.”

“During the meeting, the delegation conveyed the intention of the Iraqi National Alliance of holding the national meeting and the adherence to applying the political pacts among the political blocs,” the statement added.

“The two sides stressed the necessity of increasing the efforts to settle the political disputes through dialogue,” the statement pointed out.

“The delegation appreciated Talabani’s efforts to settle the disputes among the political blocs,” the statement concluded.
