White bloc criticizes accusing Talabani of being behind project of confidence withdrawal

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc criticized “Accusing the President, Jalal Talabani, by some political blocs of being behind the project of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

A statement by the White bloc received by IraqiNews.com cited “The bloc stresses the political blocs of realizing the seriousness of such accusations and their negative consequences on the general and the political situation at a time in which we seek an outlet from the political crisis.”

“These blocs must not accuse Talabani who is the protector of the constitution,” the statement added, noting that “Talabani would not reject withdrawing the confidence from Maliki if the latter committed constitutional violations.”

“The bloc called the political blocs to avoid the statements that increase the tension of the political scene,” the statement concluded.
