Iraq welcomes Azerbaijan decision to inaugurate its embassy in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq welcomed the decision of Azerbaijan to inaugurate its embassy in Baghdad soon.

The undersecretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Lubaid Abawi, received the Azerbaijani ambassador after the end of its tasks in Iraq.

The ambassador conveyed the regards of the Azerbaijani FM to the Iraqi FM and to inform him that Azerbaijan will inaugurate its embassy in Iraq soon.

A statement by the FM cited that “Abawi discussed the artistic procedures for inaugurating the embassy in addition to the mutual relations and the means of developing them.”

“For his part, the Azerbaijani ambassador assured the importance of developing the mutual relations in all fields,” the statement concluded.
