US Embassy in Baghdad condemns Wednesday bombings

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The US Embassy in Baghdad strongly condemns Wednesday bombings took place in Baghdad and other provinces.

A statement by US Embassy in Baghdad received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad strongly condemns today’s terrorist attacks that have killed and wounded innocent men, women, and children of all religious and ethnic backgrounds throughout Iraq.”

“We extend our sincere condolences to the families and communities of these victims, and hope for the swift recovery of those who were injured,” the statement continued.

“The perpetrators of these cowardly terrorist attacks must be brought to justice and we will support Iraq’s Security Forces in this effort in any way we can,” the statement added.

“The United States stands alongside all Iraqis who have worked to expel this senseless violence from their country.
