Nijad appreciates Iraqi role in hosting Iran, (5+1) group meetings

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) President Jalal Talabani received a letter of appreciation from the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for the success of the [5 +1] group with Iran meetings which were held in Baghdad.

A Presidential statement received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Monday, cited “Ahmadinejad , addressed Talabani, saying the success of the meetings of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the [5 +1] group in the Iraqi Capital, Baghdad, shows that Iraq has important regional and international levels in light of its independence, national unity and its finest and competent leadership .”

Meetings of the [5 +1] group and Iran were held in Baghdad at the end of last May over the Iranian nuclear program.
