Accord Movement denies reports over Allawi’s unstable health condition

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Accord Movement, headed by the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, denied the reports over Allawi’s unstable health condition, accusing certain sides to “Circulate such rumor.”

The spokesperson of the Movement, Hadi al-Dhalimi, stated in a press statement “Some media outlets mentioned that Allawi was transferred to a hospital in Kurdistan Region due to his unstable health condition.”

“This report is groundless and has political purposes for some sides where Allawi has appeared in the media outlets in a very good health condition during the meetings of Mousl and Erbil,” he added.

“This rumor was timed to show that the national meeting has failed to change the political process against the monopolization of authority,” he pointed out.

Earlier, some media outlets mentioned that “Allawi was transferred to a hospital in Kurdistan Region due to his bad health condition.”
