Political blocs busy with minor conflicts, says Kitab

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the National Democratic Work Party, Shakir Kitab, pointed out “The political blocs forming the current government are busy with minor conflicts that led to hurdling the performance of the State.”

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, Kitab added “The State is unable to perform its role in sustaining the security and to present the services in addition to other duties which are of concern to the citizens.”

Earlier, the President Jalal Talabani assured, on last Saturday night, that “The number of the MPs who have signed a request to withdraw confidence from the Premier Nouri al-Maliki reached only 160 MPs which is less than the required number limited by 163.”

It is worth mentioning that the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, participated in a meeting in Nineveh to discuss the efforts for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
