Abbawi meets Hungarian Foreign Minister

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Ministry Undersecretary, Labeed Abbawi, discussed with Hungarian Foriegn Minister, holding of the conference entitled (Iraq, Energy promising country) in Budapest city.

The Foreign Ministry reported in statement that “The Iraqi Foreign Ministry Undersecretary assured to the Hungarian Minister the importance of the conference to urge the Hungarian companies to invest in Iraq in the fields of investment and energy.”

The statement added that “The two Ministers discussed the bilateral relations and common cooperation between the two countries as well as the political situation and important developments on the Arab arena especially in Syria.”

The statement pointed out that “The meeting included discussing the future of the relations between Iraq and the European Union after signing the Iraqi-European Association Agreement.”

The statement explained that “Abbawi has met the Arab ambassadors adopted in Hungary and discussed with them the future of the relations between Iraq and Hungary and the political developments on the Syrian case in order to explain the Iraqi point of view and emphasized on refusing the foreign interference in the Syrian affairs.”
