Allawi warns from foreign interferences in Iraqi affairs

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The leader of the Iraqiya Slate Ayad Allawi warned from the foreign interference with Iraqi affairs, saying “We will not allow any interference with the Iraqi affairs and we are committed to our demand related to withdrawing the confidence from the current government.”

He pointed out that “Our allies support this demand and our goal is achieving reformation rather than targeting any person.”

Allawi said in his speech during the meeting of the Iraqiya Slate held in Nineveh, that “The meetings of Erbil and Najaf are two meetings for purely Iraqi political powers in which we did not feel any discrimination, as well as this meeting where there is no foreign interference and without any foreign influence.”
He added “I call upon the President Jalal Talabani to protect the Constitution and maintain the political process which is among his duties.”

He explained that “The Iraqiya Slate, has decided to confront those who tried to breach the Constitution peacefully through the political process,” noting that “In spite of all attempts to reform the government we did not get to the results and the situation was moving towards political sectarianism which is rejected.

He assured that “If al-Maliki to be replaced, the post will be granted for the National Alliance, and Maliki’s substitute would not be from any other side.”
