MP: Allawi, Mutleg, other IS leaders to attend Nineveh meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Wisal Saleem, of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed that “The meeting that will be headed by the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, will be attended by the head of the IS, Ayad Allawi, The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, and a number of other leaders within the IS to discuss the issue of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

She stated to IraqiNews.com “Allawi, Mutleg, MP Salman al-Jumaili, and MP Ahmed al-Msari of al-Hal bloc will attend the meeting.”

“All IS MPs are free to support or to oppose withdrawing confidence from Maliki,” she added.

She expressed her regret “Because some sides within the IS did not support Mosul in its crisis.”

A political meeting will be held in Nineveh on Saturday. The meeting will be headed by the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, to discuss the political crisis.
