Sadr trend sets 22nd of June to conduct preliminary elections in Kerbala
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend assured that “The preliminary elections for the candidates of the Sadr Trend will be conducted on the 22nd of June 2012 in Kerbala province.”
The head of the office of Ahrar bloc, Hakim l-Murshidi, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Friday “More than 40 electoral centers will be inaugurated to conduct the elections and there are (165) candidates.”
“We have discussed with the Independent High Electoral Commission over this issue and IHEC will help to conduct this process successfully,” he added.
The Sadr Trend announced on the 4th of June that the preliminary elections over its candidates in Basra province have been conducted.
