MP Alawi calls avoid attacking political leaderships

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent MP Hasan al-Alawi called, post his meeting with the President Jalal Talabani in Sulaimaniya province, for a concluding an honor pact that considers attacking the political leaderships a red line.”

Alawi mentioned from Sulaimaniya that “The President Jalal Talabani will hold an important press conference to talk frankly about the political rivals.”

“This intended press conference will be an bridge between two important phases and reference to be adopted by the political and diplomatic and even media circles which are busy with the current political crisis,” according to MP Alawi.

“I call the Premier Nouri al-Maliki and Dr. Ayad Allawi and Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi to prevent political immature MPs from both sides from giving statements that attack the government which still enjoys electoral and constitutional merits or other MPs,” MP Alawi concluded.
