Kurdish MP rules out withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ismael Shukur, of the Kurdistani Alliance ruled out possibility of getting (170) signatures to withdrew confidence from the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “The Iraqi National Alliance , except the Sadr Trend, and some sides of the KA did not sign the request which make it hard to get (170) signatures.”

“Some MPs of other blocs did not sign the request in order to preserve the political process and there is a wish to settle the crisis through another means rather than withdrawing the confidence from the government,” he concluded.
