IS MP: Withdrawing confidence from Maliki to collapse political process

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) MP, Maysaa al-Taai, of the Iraqiya Slate stated “The instance of some political blocs to topple the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, will lead to the collapse of the political process and result in instable security situation that needed some years to be achieved.”

“I am not convinced with the idea of toppling Maliki and I think the signatures will be used to push Maliki to adhere to some demands for the political blocs,” she added, expecting that “the IS will fail in withdrawing confidence from Maliki because it did the same when it suspend the attendance of the MPs from the parliament and failed to do so.”

She calls the political blocs to “Wait over the request to withdraw confidence from Maliki and adhere to the dialogue.”
