Wardi: Erbil meetings continue to replace Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Liqa Wardi, of the Iraqiya Slate stated that the meetings of Erbil will continue till replacing the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she stated “Erbil meetings, after achieving the required numbers of signatures to replace Maliki, will do it in a very easy and calm way.”

She pointed out “The process of withdrawing confidence from Maliki has reached an advanced level and missed the administrational procedures only,” noting that “The arrival of the leaders to Baghdad will expedite the process especially after submitting the names to the President, Jalal Talabani, who will handle them over to the parliament.”

“The attendants of Erbil meeting are waiting the Iraqi National Alliance to replace Maliki,” she added, calling the State of Law Coalition to “Allow the INA to replace Maliki from INA and not from SLC because INA would not form majority alone.”
