Khuzayi, Kobler discuss political developments

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudhayir al-Khuzayi, and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq, Martin Kobler, discussed the regional and Iraqi political developments on Wednesday.

Presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com cited “Khuzayi appreciated the role of the UN Assitance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) in supporting Iraq, expressing his hope for UNAMI to establish more projects that serve Iraqis.”

“Over the current political crisis, Khuzayi stressed the necessity of all sides’ adherence to the constitution and to adopt the dialogue to settle the crisis,” the statement mentioned

“For his part, Kobler confirmed UNAMI’s support for Iraqis and their government, expressing readiness to develop and serve the political process,” the statement concluded.
