Maliki’s adviser: CoM’s meeting not to be broadcasted live

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Maryam al-Rayis, the adviser of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, announced that “The meeting of the Council of Ministers, which will be held on Monday, will not be broadcasted live.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she stated “The meeting of the CoM will be a regular meeting to discuss the issues on its agenda.”

Earlier, some officials and ministers stated that “The session of the CoM, which will be held on Monday, will be broadcast live to discuss the achievements of the ministries.”

She added “The CoM will hold its meeting on Tuesday in Nineveh to discuss the means of cooperation between the central government and the local government there to perform the projects,” noting that “This meeting will be the same as those held in Kirkuk and Basra provinces.”

“Some of the meetings of the CoM will be held in several provinces,” she concluded.
